We knew the next generation Nissan Titan would be receiving the 5. 0-liter Cummins turbo diesel V-8 engine and we thought it would make for an awesome half-ton truck but we never expected to see a whole new different... The profile of the 2016 Nissan Titan XD gives you a good look at the sculpted sides and chiseled body lines that Nissan says are meant to mimic a warrior. Aerodynamics also played a role in the exterior design, which is improved from the previous Titan and incorporates a front spoiler, roof and tailgate spoilers, front tow hook hole cover, underbody covers, rear tire wind deflectors and a seal... It’s pretty obvious that the 2016 Nissan Titan XD is aimed squarely at pickup truck buyers who want to tow more weight than a half-ton can safely tow but don’t need the extra capacity that a comes with the HD category.
