The woman told him that Bowman had... The woman told the CPD officer that the business did not know that Bowman had requested his insurance company to send the check directly to him. When the woman called the insurance company, its representative told her that the check had been mailed to Bowman at his request, the affidavit stated. The bookkeeper and Bowman both called the insurance company, and they learned that the check had been cashed on that same day.
