Stolen truck recovered - Eastern Arizona Courier

Jeremy Jay Bowman, 30, and Edward Young, 34, were both arrested and booked into the Graham County Jail on charges of theft of means of transportation, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Graham County Dispatch notes, a white four-door 2001 Chevrolet Duramax Dually pickup truck was reported stolen from Pima at 6:10 p. m. At about 6:40 p. m. , a Graham County Sheriff's deputy spotted a white Chevy Duramax pass by him... The deputy made a U-turn and saw the truck turn northbound onto 14th Avenue. As the officer closed in his pursuit, the truck suddenly took off, emitting a large cloud of black smoke from its exhaust pipe, and ran the stop sign at the intersection with 26th Street, according to the deputy's report. The truck turned westbound onto 26th Street, spinning its tires and causing white smoke to come up from the wheel base. The officer then lost sight of the vehicle as it created a large dust cloud when it went off-road near the intersection of 26th Street and 20th Avenue. The deputy relayed the information to dispatch, and a Safford officer soon came upon the truck still running but parked at the Mt. Graham Apartments at 2040 S. 20th Ave. Source: www.eacourier.com
