What is it. The Nissan NP300 Navarra is an all-new version of its one-tonne pick-up. As you'd expect, Nissan says the new model is considerably cleaner and more fuel efficient than the model it replaces. The new Navara comes with a 2. 3-litre diesel engine available in outputs of 158bhp and 187bhp, the latter being a twin-turbo model. The new model comes with a choice of two- or four-wheel drive models and six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearboxes. Passenger-carrying Double Cab models benefit from an improved multi-link rear suspension system which further improves the ride. All models offer more than a tonne of load capacity and have an increased towing limit of 3500kg, up 500kg from the highest offered on the previous car. Nissan promises that the new Navarra will be considerably better equipped than the model it replaces, and will feature several technologies not available on its rivals. All around cameras and autonomous emergency braking are unique to the pick-up market, while options include cruise control, hill descent control and hill start assist, all of which, Nissan claims, are modified to best serve the needs of pick-up...
