*** ATTENTION *** If your vehicle is a 1996 model there are two different lock options. 1996 was a transition year for lock types, with some 96 taking this lock which mounts in the plastic handle assembly and some 96 taking a different lock which mounts "old style" through the sheet metal part of the door.
*** ATTENTION *** These door lock cylinders fit vehicles which have the lock cylinder located inside the plastic handle assembly. This cylinder will NOT work for vehicles which have the lock cylinder outside of the handle assembly in the sheet metal portion of the door.
