Parking-lot accident involves multiple vehicles - Lampasas Dispatch Record
Lampasas Police Department Traffic Officer Dean Werlinger gave the following report about the incident, reported to the police department at 5:07 p. m. Doris Ann Fox, 86, of Lampasas, headed east on Second Street in a 2005 Chrysler 300 sedan and... The pickup was parked while its driver waited for her daughter, who works at Hodges & Sargent. Werlinger said he is not sure why, but the Chrysler driver accelerated across the parking lot while continuing to turn left, causing the car to jump a curb into the bank parking lot. The Chrysler struck a parked 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe -- which then collided with a parked 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe -- and the car continued back into the Hodges & Sargent parking lot.
