- SIMPLE 10 MINUTE INSTALLATION:1.Disconnect the battery cable, find and remove the old alternator.2.Connect the electrical plug and wires to the new alternator.3. After the new alternator slides into place, install the bolts in the correct position.4. Use the serpentine belt tool to control the belt sliding back to the pulley, reconnect the battery cable.5.Start the car and make sure the alternator is charging.
