2015 Ford Ranger: Global but Not for the US [Preview] - The Fast Lane

The size of 1st gen Tundra seemed just right not super-sized like todays trucks. Don’t get why so many Americans that don’t use a truck as a truck think bigger is better. This article I think is in the right direction as far as Ford not offering the Ranger:. They may lose a few Ranger customers to Colorado/Tacoma/Frontier, but I bet a lot of others will simply go for the F-150, I bet the margins are insane on F-150’s compared to Rangers. Since ford wants to stay out of the American market with the Ranger,so be it. But as it has already been pointed out,(many times) there is a growing number of people including myself that just don’t need a land yacht truck. Smaller is better for a lot of folks, for a lot of reasons. So ford, keep your ranger out of here, and your competitors will gladly supply us with useful smaller trucks. the way you describe it, (more) in terms of its Off-Road Chops, makes me YEARN More & More for JEEP to get off Their ASSES and produce the LOOOONG Desired JEEP TRUCK. With at least as much approach / departure / fording & throw in some ROCK Crawling ability – a true “Gladiator” of a Sportsman Friendly / Worker Capable Utilitarian of a “Beastlet”.
