Coulee Cops - The Star of Grand Coulee

7/17 - A Seattle woman told police that, while she shopped at Safeway, someone took a makeup kit, a pair of shoes, and some medicines from her car. An officer checked on the man, who said his sister was trying to control him and that was why he hadn’t communicated with her. - A report of a bank card being stolen from a patient brought an officer to Coulee Medical Center. 7/21 - A Coulee Dam man was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt. The officer gave the man a warning, but when the driver pulled away, he still wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. The officer stopped him again and told the driver that he had just gotten a warning but still wasn’t wearing his seatbelt. When asked if he was going to wear his seatbelt now, the man asked, “Do I have to wear my seatbelt. - An Electric City man was arrested on three warrants out of Grant County when an officer saw him driving near Delano. During the process, the officer noticed a syringe with a brown liquid in it. When the man was told of the find he stated, “I plead the fifth, buddy. The officer asked that this be also charged against the man. 7/23 - A man reported that he thinks his truck was damaged when it was parked at an Electric City business. - An officer responded, along with a tribal officer, to a report.
