Honda Ridgeline Teaser Image Shown at 2015 Chicago Auto Show - Motor Trend

Where the first teaser sketch was simply an outline of the upcoming Ridgeline pickup’s side profile, the new sketch shows the pickup from the rear three-quarter angle. The more detailed sketch reveals a more aggressive design than the first-generation Ridgeline. While both teaser sketches suggest the new Ridgeline will adopt a more traditional profile with a defined cab and bed, a prototype for the new pickup appeared to have the same sloping rear cab area as the original pickup. Since this will be a FWD-based trucklet (saw Honda used a Ford Explorer SporTrac approach to the cab/bed division, but more flushed and aero) and there's the existence of the "(260 lb-ft) FWD wall" that plagues turboed large I4's and any V6 (if... It looks great from this angle in the sketch. PLEASE HONDA GODS DO NOT give it the awful 2016 Pilot mini-van look. I am really crossing my fingers for the new Ridgeline. Think affordable, Jeep, Land Rover/ Range Rover instead please, their are a lot of outdoorsy type people out there who would like a ruggedly styled and reasonably capable HONDA SUV or Truck to match their other Honda equipment.
