Tuned Drives A 500 Horsepower GMC Syclone: Video - GM Authority (blog)

Even in its stock form, the GMC Syclone was a bit insane. The little all-wheel drive sport truck was the fastest accelerating vehicle you could buy in 1991 thanks to its possibly underrated 280 horsepower turbocharged V6 engine, making it the perfect platform for tuning today. The latest episode of Matt Farah’s TUNED features a GMC Syclone which is anything but stock. The Syclone’s 4. 3 liter V6 has been bored and stroked, while the stock turbo has been replaced with a much larger precision turbo, helping it put down about 500 horsepower at the wheels. The Syclone is usable and purposeful with the badass looks to go along with it. As they put it, it’s nasty, dirty, evil and yet somehow, perfect. Source: gmauthority.com
