Police involved in shooting at south Indianapolis nature park - WTHR
Two Johnson County sheriff's deputies were involved in a shooting at Glenns Valley Nature Park on Bluff Road on the Indianapolis south side the morning of July 9. Following an IMPD investigation into the shooting, Deputies Troy Montgomery and... Deputies later located the man's white GMC pick-up truck at Glenns Valley Nature Park and contacted IMPD for assistance. The deputies and IMPD officers became engaged in a standoff with the man, 31-year-old Daryll Kent Hedges, and at some point felt the man's actions were threatening enough for them to draw their weapons and shoot.
