2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 8.1L gas Vortec motor (496CID) 455 lb. ft. of torque. Allison 5speed trans, 3.73 axel. 45,800 miles. Standard cab 8 foot bed, 2 WD. Primarily used as a tow vehicle and not winter driven. Tows great ,lots of torque and similar gas mileage to a 6.0L motor. IMO not a great move by Chevy when they quit using this engine coupled with the Allison 5 speed. All original paperwork and service records. Electronic trailer brake controller,telescoping mirrors for towing. Hinged Tonneau Masters bed cover. Bed and tailgate rubber mat. Zero rust all OEM body panels with original paint with no repairs. Interior near new condition. Truck is in pristine condition with no mechanical issues and will make someone a great tow vehicle at a fraction of the cost of a new 2020 truck with tow capabilities.
