Daddy Dave, one of the stars of ‘Street Outlaws,’ was injured after he lost control of his vehicle and it flipped multiple times during a race on Aug. Street Outlaws star Daddy Dave was involved in a jaw-dropping crash during a drag race at the Amarillo Dragway in Texas on Aug. As his car reached high speeds, he lost control and hit a wall, causing his car to flip several times. Daddy Dave was injured, and we have an update on his condition. Only seconds after the drag race started, Dave’s vehicle hit a wall and started to flip. Parts of the car were ripped away as the car continued to barrel down the track. People can be seen rushing to Daddy Dave’s side after his car came to a stop. Daddy Dave is one of the many stars of Street Outlaws , a reality show that premiered on the Discovery channel in 2013. The series follows the street racers on the track and behind the scenes. His 1996 GMC Sonoma S10 pickup is worth over $150,000. His racing career is funded by construction mogul Jackie Knox.
