February trial set in fatal crash - Vicksburg Post

A Warren County man accused of causing an alcohol-related crash that killed two people in May will stand trial in February. Joseph White, 31, who has listed addresses on Oak Ridge and Falk Steel roads, stood before Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick Friday for arraignment after indictment by the July term of the grand jury for aggravated DUI causing injury or death. White was not arrested following the May 8 crash that killed William Harvey Raney, 56, and John Harold Raney, 52, both of 386 Murray Road while toxicology results were pending, Sheriff Martin Pace has said. The indictment against White does not list his blood alcohol level at the time of the crash. The maximum legal blood alcohol content for an adult to drive a noncommercial vehicle in Mississippi is. 08. White was southbound on Oak Ridge Road when his 2012 GMC Sierra collided with the Raneys’ northbound 1985 GM van at about 6 p. m. May 8,... Investigators say White’s vehicle was traveling over the speed limit when he crossed into the northbound lane hitting the Raney’s van.
