Two pickup drivers sought in hit and run that destroyed McDonald's flagpole - abc19
(Contributed by KPD) – On August 20, 2015 at approximately 11:00 PM, a vehicle ran over a curb and struck a metal flagpole in the parking lot of McDonald’s, located at 4300 West Stone Drive in Kingsport. A review of surveillance video footage determined that the vehicle in question was a white pickup truck that appeared to be a full-size Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra with an extended cab and a tool box mounted in the bed. The white pickup became stuck on the curb and/or flagpole pedestal during the incident. A few minutes later, a second pickup arrived in the parking lot and pulled the white pickup back into the parking lot, allowing it to leave the scene of the crash. The second pickup appeared to be a full-size Dodge Ram with a 4-door cab.
