Driver ejected in rollover accident - Le Mars Daily Sentinel
LE MARS -- A man was thrown from his pickup truck in a single-vehicle accident Sunday on C-38, south of Le Mars. David Wurtz, 53, of Yankton, South Dakota, was injured when the 2006 GMC Sierra pickup he was driving rolled several times. The Sierra he was driving left the roadway on the right side and Wurtz overcorrected, causing it to leave the roadway to the left, according to an Iowa State Patrol accident report. The Sierra rolled several times in the ditch, coming to rest in a bean field, owned by Christine Collins. The Sierra was totaled with an estimated $1,500.
