The company suggests exterior styling has been the top priority for Sierra buyers, so the pickup has received several new key design elements aimed at further improving its looks. The front end has been revised with new fascias and grilles for every trim level, each featuring C-shape LED daytime running lights and LED headlights. Aside from fresh exterior styling, the Sierra's stablemate also added an eight-speed automatic transmission for its 5. 3-liter V8. The same gearbox option will presumably make its way to the Sierra. Both the Sierra and Silverado will bring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support for 2016. The company has also hinted at new safety technologies and other "customer-focused technologies," however full details are currently being withheld.
