Three people killed on state roadways - Arkansas Online
A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning on Interstate 49 in Benton County, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police. Ryan Dame, 29, of Fort Smith was hit and killed about 3:05 a. m. by a southbound 2015 GMC Sierra after he stepped onto I-49, the report said. The driver of the GMC, James Freeman of Springdale, was not injured. At the time of the crash, the weather was clear and roads were dry. Also Saturday, a crash involving three trucks in Hot Spring County killed an Idaho man and injured two Michigan men. Alexander Bout, 61, of Boise, Idaho, was driving a 2002 Kenworth truck on Interstate 30. He exited to a rest area near Malvern about 4:45 a. m. and hit a parked 2010 International, which then hit a parked 2001 Peterbilt, according to a state... , both passengers in the International, were injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center in Malvern, the report said. A minor was killed and two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Harrison in Boone County on Aug. Moises Gomez, 56, of Batesville was driving a 2001 Toyota north on the U. S. 62-U. S. 65 bypass when his vehicle crossed the centerline and hit a southbound 2008 GMC head-on, the report said.
