KPD: Two sought in hit-and-run with McDonald's flagpole - Kingsport Times News
Police are seeking the drivers of two pickups from a recent incident at a Kingsport McDonald's, where one allegedly demolished a flagpole and then got stuck, prompting the other to pull him off the curbing so he could flee the scene. A review of surveillance footage reportedly shows that the vehicle is either a full-size Chevrolet Silverado, or GMC Sierra with an extended cab and a tool box mounted in the bed. That vehicle is believed to be a full-size Dodge Ram with a 4-door cab. Police say it pulled the white pickup back into the parking lot, allowing the driver to leave the crash. Anyone who recognizes either of the vehicles pictured, or who may have information on the incident, is asked to contact KPD detectives at (423) 229-9429.
