Police Beat: August 16, 2015 - Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman
August 5, 12:15 a. m. , Parks Highway. Police responded to the Tesoro at the corner of the Parks and Palmer-Wasilla Highways for a REDDI call in which the called complained about a driver driving in excess of 80 MPH and passing illegally. August 4, 4:43 a. m. , W. Parks Highway. Police stopped Nathaniel Sofianos for a traffic violation and found him to be driving on a revoked license. August 5, 5:24 p. m. , E. Parks Highway. Police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of the Parks Highway and Seward Meridian Parkway. The driver, Christopher Wallace, was allegedly driving while his license was suspended. August 5, 11:59 p. m. , E. Parks Highway. After conducting a traffic stop at the intersection of the Parks Highway and Alpine Street, police found Justin King was allegedly driving while his license was suspended. King was issued a summons to appear in court. Police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation and found the driver, Timothy Walker, was allegedly driving while his license was revoked.
