Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station detectives are continuing to investigate a series of robberies from this past week and are asking the public’s help in locating a suspect. A couple was lost in Towsley Canyon Sunday evening, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials. Only 20,000 crime victims in Los Angeles County received services last year, while the number of violent crime victims alone exceeded 45,000, according to a report by District Attorney officials.
