Rare Ford Factory OEM Turn Signal Mirrors & parts
This listing is for a box lot of 1996 only Ford turn signal mirrors and parts. There are parts to make 3 perfect turn signal mirrors. Included are 4 'truck side/female socket" wire harnesses with plugs to make the conversion much easier and more like factory. There is also 1 extra male socket with wire for future repairs if needed.
Ford in conjunction with Muth manufactured these power turn signal mirrors for 1996 Ford trucks only. It was an option, and very rare. These mirrors are very unique in that as the driver, you cannot see the turn signal lights, but to those behind and to the side can see them. These have never been reproduced, and Muth does not even have records of the mirrors.
Mirror marked #3 is an excellent condition fully functioning power turn signal mirror. Its sole flaw is that the the mirror needs to be re-attached to the motor. A relatively easy task.
Mirror in picture #2 is excellent. The bracket that attaches to the inner door skin is broken, but that part can be swapped with any mirror via 2 screws.
Mirror marked #4 needs some work. As you can see, the mirroring has some damage, and the top row of 3 LED lights is not functioning. I am including a good factory Ford mirror to use for repair. It will involve getting the mirror removed from the housing that it is adhered to, in order to swap it. This will give perfect access to the LEDs to fix the issue by a knowledgeable DIY person, or an experienced electronics tech.
I am not in a rush to sell these, but will consider reasonable offers. These are VERY RARE. I recently sold a pair, and these are all the remaining stuff I have after YEARS of collecting. These do NOT come up for sale often in ANY condition.
