Reverse raffle raises funds to assist stock show exhibitors - Pressreporter

Through the donations of others, Dawson County Livestock Show exhibitors are able to receive cash prizes, belt buckles, ribbons and other miscellaneous items every year. One of the main fund raisers hosted by the Dawson County Livestock Association is the 10th Annual Dawson County Junior Livestock Show Buyers’ Club Reverse Drawing, which will be held next Saturday, Aug. This year’s vehicle, a 2015 F150 4x4 Supercrew Pickup from Spike Dykes Ford, will be awarded to the holder of the last raffle ticket. “We have people who just bend over backwards to make this reverse raffle a success, including Spike Dykes Ford, Helena Chemicals, Punkin Center Gin, Mesa Irrigation, Gary Roschetzky, Courtney Levens and Tommy Doederlein with the Extension Agency... Although no raffle tickets were available on Friday for next weekend’s event, Archer was going ahead and taking names to put on a waiting list.
