Motorist Shoots at Truck in Lake Wales; No One Injured - The Ledger

John Anthony Decesare, 3870 Hibiscus Drive, was arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm from a vehicle, according to a Polk County Sheriff's Office arrest report. Robert Daniel, 34, of Lake Wales was not injured when shots were fired about 6:15 a. m. at the pickup he was driving, a 2011 Ford F550 owned by a Caterpillar equipment dealer Ring Power Service, the Sheriff's Office said. Daniel told deputies he was driving north to work on Masterpiece Road near Bassett Road when he saw a black Corvette he thought was trying to pass him. Decesare told deputies he did not know Daniel but shot at the truck because he thought it was the truck that had been tormenting him.
