The SilverHorse Racing Tru-Billet Truck Fuel Doors are made from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billets, machined down to an exact fit. This results in a part that is lighter than the stock fuel door it replaces, yet will take just about whatever abuse you want to throw at it. After anodizing or plating, they are hand-assembled using stainless steel hardware for a perfect, no-drill fit. Retention and closing of the door is accomplished with chrome-plated press-fit magnets and a proprietary striker plate that is retained by stainless hardware, not glue. Installs in about ten minutes using common hand tools, and they are available in a variety of finishes as well as with 4x4 engraving at no extra charge.
These Fuel Doors are also available in our normal finishes, along with the additional option of 4x4 engraving.
