Princeton man killed in motorcycle crash in Spencer Brook Township - Princeton Union Eagle

According to a press release by the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office, at 4:08 p. m. , the communication center received a report of a personal injury crash at the intersection of County Road 5 Northwest and Feldspar Street Northwest, located in... The crash involved a 1989 Yamaha street legal dirt bike driven by Dillion Phillip Anderson and a 2008 Ford super duty pick-up truck driven by Larry Wayne Anderson, 60, of rural Isanti. The motorcycle driven by Dillion Anderson was northbound on Feldspar Street Northwest where northbound traffic at this intersection is controlled by a stop sign. The investigation showed Dillion Anderson did not stop for the stop sign and did not yield to eastbound traffic. Larry Anderson was eastbound in his truck on County Road 5 pulling a fifth-wheel camper-trailer combo. Dillion Anderson collided with the pickup box on the truck, was ejected from his motorcycle and eventually ended up on the shoulder of the road. Larry Anderson saw the motorcycle coming and tried to avoid the crash but was unable to do so. Larry Anderson remained at the scene and cooperated fully with the investigation, and witnesses at the scene confirm what happened. “This is the second fatal motorcycle crash in Isanti County in one week,” said Isanti County Sheriff Chris Caulk.
