This 1997 Ford F-250 HD started life as a 2wd. It is now running 2007 F-250 Superduty axles and suspension. It no longer has leaf springs on the front as those have been swapped for the coil springs found on 2005 and newer Superduty trucks. The 2wd ZF5 was replaced with a rebuilt ZF5 out of a 4 wheel drive unit along with a rebuilt Borg Warner transfer case. This swap has been done for close to 15K miles. The truck runs and drives great. 
With this truck you get the classic styling of the 92-97 F Series trucks, the smooth suspension of a newer Superduty and the legendary power and reliability of the 7.3 Powerstroke. 
The truck was recently repainted Oxford White. The original color was of the truck was also white. The clear coat was peeling and I felt like the truck deserved a proper paint job. The interior is way above average for the year. The dash has a small slit/crack in it under the dash rug. There are no major stains in the carpet and the seats are in great condition.  
I encourage potential buyers to come inspect the truck in person or have a reliable contact person come inspect the truck. I can pick you up at our local airport and you can drive the truck home anywhere in the country.
