We’re talking oil-burning pulling competition here folks. The feat took place on a 7 percent grade incline, on Interstate 64 in West Virginia and included one Ram and two Fords. The Chrysler Group pickup, as well as one of the Fords were pulling identical trailers, each hauling seven 2,300 lbs pallets of CMUs. This of course, was a battle between the Ford’s Power Stroke V8 diesel, which churns out 440 horses and 860 lb-ft of torque and the Ram’s Cummings straight six, a motor pushing 370 hp and a peak torque of 800 lb-ft.
