— A missing puppy named Jacki, who was stolen along with a truck in Lenexa, has been found and will be reunited with her owner Monday evening. The puppy was taken to Oak Brook Animal Hospital in Gardner where the dog was checked and confirmed to be in good health. Ultimately, the dog ended up in the possession of a woman who had adopted the dog through the animal hospital. The woman who adopted the puppy saw a post on Facebook and realized this was likely the dog that was missing from Lenexa. Police describe the truck as a Gray 2015 Ford F150 pickup truck, with Missouri license plate #2MW508. It was taken from a hotel parking lot in the area of College Blvd. and Strang Line Road on Saturdaymorning, August 22, 2015 between 3 and 4:15 a. m. Inside the truck, behind the driver’s seat, was the 11-week-old black and white female Jack Russell puppy, named Jacki, who was later recovered safe. Source: fox4kc.com
