DMT NEW 1/2" thick hood insulation pad for 1999-2007 F250, F350 Super Duty & 2000-2007 Excursion with (17) original style, textured, 1-1/4" dia head hood pad retainers (other sellers use large, generic Chevy hood insulation clips that hang off the edges of the pad).
This is our own, reverse engineered, created in CAD and die cut. This piece has perfectly cut edges. The shape is perfectly symmetrical. Made from automotive spec dark gray fiberglass insulation with BLACK fiberglass scrim / matt facing insulation pad insulates heat transfer to the hood and well as reducing sound/noise.
Also our hood pads come rolled in a box not folded. Folded hood pads are wrinkled and tear at the folds during storage and shipping.
NOTE: This is NOT a molded hood pad like the original. It is a nice, inexpensive functional equivalent. See attached picture installed on a hood.
