The Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) controls the fuel injectors on the 6.0L engine. It is responsible for stepping up the battery voltage to 48 volts, which is required to activate the injectors.
What is a core? Rebuilders require your old unit to rebuild for the next customer, so there is a deposit payment required, much like your soda-can deposit at the grocery store. We will send a paypal request to your paypal account in order to keep it seperated. When the old unit is returned to us, we will refund the deposit.
