Police: Items stolen from Boonville business recovered - Evansville Courier & Press
Several vehicles stolen from S&S Machine Shop were recovered Monday, but police are asking for people who know about the theft to come forward. Police believe multiple people broke into a gated lot at S&S Machine Shop late Sunday night or early Monday morning and stole about $280,000 worth in items. A white 2015 Dodge Ram, a white 2008 Ford F550 and a 30-foot flatbed gooseneck owned by S&S Machine Shop owners were pulled into the shop, according to a news release. Three forklifts were used to remove machinery from the trailer and then used to load several "large welders, metal lathes and various heavy-grade tools," the statement said. The 2015 Dodge Ram was found on Interstate 64 near mile marker 122 Monday afternoon, while the 2008 Ford F550 with a gooseneck trailer was left at an abandoned chemical plant in Louisville.
