This auction is for a used Pitman Arm from a 1978 Ford F250 4 wheel drive power steering box. The Pitman arm is in good condition and has been bead blasted and painted to restore it to a like new condition. The splines are good and the tapered hole is not damaged or worn and should work just like a new one. There are 4 slots in the splines that allows the pitman arm to be installed at 90 degree intervals. This pitman arm is similar to the ones used on the 1/2 ton F100 & F150 models except it appears to be dropped to allow the steering assembly to line up a little better. Applications for the Pitman arm are 1977, 1978 & 1979 F250, F350 4 X 4 pick up trucks with power steering but will probably fit other applications. If you have a question e-mail me before you bid.
