What is Next for Ford Super Duty? 2016 and Beyond. [Ask TFLtruck w/ Video] - The Fast Lane
I am very interested in buying a 2016 F450 and can’t find any info on it. I had my F350 stolen and wanting to replace it. I am trying to find some info so I can decide if it is worth waiting for to purchase. Ford closes the Louisville truck plant in April for re tooling. You can’t order a 2015 anymore because of this plant closing, but you can order a 2016…& the plant retooling is still not completed. Where will they be building this little changed 2016. Obviously, not in Louisville, Ky. Or, as I suspect, will it be a left over 2015, with a 2016 Vin number, until they can get the plant up to speed for a mid year, early release of the 2017 SD.... I guess Ford is willing to lose some business in the 2016 model year SD. They certainly won’t be getting any of my money. If it craps out, Ford loses because I’ll be forced to look elsewhere. You’re just talking trash, eh. It’s more than obvious when you mention the Titan… as if that can just replace a 3/4-1 ton… it cannot, at least not while doing the same work. Ford will close the KY truck plant(and several others) for 1 week at the end of June and into July for retooling. Take about 10 seconds to research and you’ll quickly see articles stating a shorter shutdown. I don’t pay attention to it, but never heard a word about SD plant shut downs in.
