Charges possible in US 13 crash near Greenwood Friday - The News Journal

Charges may be possible for the driver of a truck that crashed on South DuPont Highway (U. S. 13) near Greenwood Friday and left a passenger in critical condition, state police said Saturday. Talley, 20, of Bear, was driving a 2004 Ford F250 pickup truck at about 4:40 p. m. northbound on South DuPont Highway at a high speed when he lost control near Marsh Branch Road, Master Cpl. The truck drove off the east side of the road where it hit a “One Way” sign and a mailbox before re-entering the northbound lane and crossing over the center median, where it hit an embankment, Fournier said. His passenger, Donald J. Woods, 44, of Newark, was flown by state police helicopter to Christiana Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition, Fournier said. State police continue to investigate the crash and have indicated that charges may be forthcoming, Fournier said. Source: www.delawareonline.com
