But his favorite and most used truck, a Ford F-350, has been out of commission all week after filling up at the Sam's Club at Exit 7. He said it happened... "It didn't want to start, didn't want to run right, smoking, acting up," said Lambert. He didn't know what was wrong with it until a representative of Sam's Club contacted him to let him know. It was because the diesel pump he used actually pumped out regular unleaded gasoline. "I was supposed to be at Washington Dulles airport this morning, didn't make that meeting today, and was supposed to be at Tri-Cities airport tomorrow. A Sam's Club representative said on Sunday a fuel supplier accidentally dropped regular gas into the diesel underground tank. "The combustion will make the engine run at such a hot temperature, it will actually blow flames or melt the engine," said Scott. The Sam's Club representative says the company is working to compensate affected drivers for necessary repairs. "I understand accidents happen, I mean the driver mistakenly puts fuel in the wrong tank, but it's caused me a lot of headaches," he said. Source: www.wcyb.com
