Driver and passenger rear frame rust repair pieces for Ford Rangers years 1998-2003. This kit will fit regular and extended cabs with 6 foot beds only.
This kit will fix the rot that typically occurs from the rear bed mount to the back end of the frame.
Constructed of 10 gauge hot rolled high carbon steel which is thicker than your existing frame and thicker than the other sellers on Ebay. Measures approximately 14" long. Pieces are notched to go around the rear spring shackle mount for a super easy install.
What is Needed
These are weld on plates. Moderate welding skills required. The rear bumper mounting bracket will need to be removed before install, then remounted by drilling new holes, or welding the bumper bracket back on.
The truck's bed may remain attached during install.
