For sale is a kit to replace the **spring** on the parking brake pedal release mechanism.
(I do not have for sale the parking brake pedal assembly)
This is the spring shown in the attached photo of the parking brake pedal release mechanism.
If this spring on your Ford/Mercury vehicle is broken, this kit provides everything you need to replace the broken spring:
- Replacement spring
- Installation instructions
- Tool to assist with the installation of the replacement spring
The replacement spring is not identical to the original Ford spring, however the replacement spring is equivalent fit and function. The replacement spring is zinc plated to help prevent corrosion.
