Bagby, Christine V. NEWPORT NEWS, Va. Christine Viar Bagby, 98, a native of Lynchburg, went home to her heavenly father on Friday, August 21, 2015. Christine was self-employed as a hairdresser and operated her beauty shop out of her Fairview... son, Glautin C. Bagby, Jr. , "G. C. ". son-in-law, John P. Stinnette, and seven sisters. daughter-in-law, Grace Bagby of Concord. Special recognition is given to her son, Glautin C. Bagby "G. C. " and his wife, Grace for their loving care and dedication given to Christine for twenty plus years while she resided in their home. A graveside service will be held at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg at 1 p. m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015, officiated by Pastor Curtis Wheeler.
