1997 F-250 Ford XLT 7.3 DIESEL 4WD - Power Stroke w/ 135,435 miles. It’s optioned w/ a 5 spd manual transmission and a short bed, making it a rare find.

Brief History: This truck started its life in Arizona as a commuter vehicle by a business man. The truck was sold in 1999 to a family in Colorado who used it for camping during the summer and later brought the truck with them as they relocated to Pennsylvania. Once again the truck was only used during the summer and garaged at all times. This second owner had maintained handwritten maintenance records ever since he purchased the truck in 1999, detailing every mechanical procedure, including oil changes every 3k miles. The truck runs and drives as it should with absolutely no mechanical flaws. A clean vehicle history report has been obtained and will be provided with the sale of this truck.

Motor: The 7.3 power stroke diesel runs perfectly. No check engine lights present. Engine compartment is exceptionally clean. A rebuilt starter and newer batteries were installed.

Transmission/Transfer case: The truck has a 4 spd manual transmission w/ overdrive gear (5 spd). It shifts perfect with the clutch working as it should, showing no signs of wear. The 4wd functions as it should, w/ manual locking hubs.

Exterior: This truck was repainted many years ago due to the clear coat damage created by the Arizona sun. The repaint is VERY good and hard to recognize it was even repainted. MINOR flaws (scratches / dings / chips) do exist in the paint. The lower aftermarket chrome panels that were applied show no signs of paint deterioration underneath them. The under sides of the doors are all solid. I rate the overall quality of the paint a 7 out of 10.Tires: The tires (285/75/16) are nearly new as they were replaced in May 2020. The bed (cargo area) of the truck has some dents and waves in the floor from the last owner using it to transport firewood.
