This is a genuine Ford manufactured hood emblem for a 1953-56 Ford F-100 Pickup. I have polished the piece, it is missing the original red and black paint, but I didn't replace the paint since I think it looks just as rich (if not better) as is. The piece is missing one of the mounting nuts, and the driver's side edge wants to start pitting- - -but I'd still use as-is, even on a show truck.
