Atwood man uninjured in rollover accident - Journal Advocate

The specially modified construction vehicle, described as similar to a golf cart, was northbound on the right shoulder and northbound lane, just north of mile marker 141 at about 1:20 p. m. At the same time, a 2013 Ford F-350 driven by William... Soukup reported that Palacios slowed and moved to the left as his pickup neared the cart. As he was straddling the center stripe on the highway, the cart "quickly and fully" entered the northbound lane in front of the pickup. The Ford struck the construction vehicle's left rear corner and left side, sending it to the northeast off the right side of the road. The cart came to a rest on its wheels facing north in the grassy ditch. The pickup began to rotate clockwise and spun off the right side of the road, across the grassy ditch, and rolled 3/4-times to the right side, striking a barbed-wire fence. The truck came to a stop on its left side, on top of the fence and partially in a farm field. The utility cart sustained heavy left side and rear end damage, while the pickup had moderate to major damage on its top and sides. Source: www.journal-advocate.com
