1948-1956 Ford F-1, F-100 Disc Brake Conversion Bracket Kit
This disc brake bracket kit will allow you to convert your straight axle truck to disc brakes using your stock spindles and readily available components available at your friendly local auto parts store.
Features:
- Bolts to stock spindles using existing mounting holes
- Blanchard ground to exact specs
- Allows for perfect caliper fit
- For 5x5.5 bolt pattern conversions
- Uses 79-93 F-100/F-150 brake rotors (or Ford equivalent)
- Uses 71-87 GM 1/2-ton truck calipers (or GM equivalent)
- Includes mounting hardware
Please note that stock drum brake wheels may not work with disc brake conversions. Drum brake wheels were not made with disc brakes in mind so there may be wheel to caliper clearance problems.
