Worn tires, not potholes, were responsible for a crash that killed a New Hudson man and his 9-year-old son in January, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. The car crossed into the path of an oncoming 1994 Ford F Super Duty dump truck hauling a landscape trailer driven by a 25-year-old Farmington Hills man, according to the reports.
