- It should be noted that copper is NOT being used for costs & environmental reasons. So the traditional Triple Plate that use to refer to copper, nickle & chrome has been replaced by nickle, nickle & chrome. So this is still a "triple" plated bumper with plenty of protection against corrosion and a superior chrome finish.
