Classic truck cranks out unique pizzas in Sarasota - WTSP 10 News
Baril and his wife, Danni Bleil, put a new idea into that old white truck and locals have gone nuts for it. They run a pizza catering business out of their classic ride and churn out some modern pies all over Sarasota. "I think it's an exceptional idea and it goes with the pizza they make," said one customer. "I has a new life and I think that's interesting," said Bob Coppola, who snapped a few photos of Polpo's truck. "I'm a chef at heart and I see the dough as a canvas for ingredients and I find that if you have simple, quality ingredients and you really care about the things that you're putting on your pizza you don't need to put a lot of other stuff on... "I've always said, the truck will get you in the door but the food's got to be good and, at the end of the day, I think people are remembering the pizza" said Baril.
