IF YOU PLAN TO INSTALL CAM PHASER LOCK OUTS THIS TUNE IS A MUST!
Yes, the vehicle will run once installed but It will not run well for long. Eventually it will start to miss and lose power along with the check engine lightcoming on, bad fuel milage, and in some cases cause electric damage from trying to activate the variable valve timing.
We are able to disable the variable valve cam shafts option in your oem computer/ecu so that your vehicle doesn't go through spark plugs, run bad, power loss, check engine lights due to bank 1/2 over advancement, after installing your phaser lockouts. Kits that come with a programmer are only able to disable this functionand will only work on one vehicle. They also run you far more than this tune does. . When we disable your VVT option in your oem ecu and we can also modify other options at $10 per option.
