“This quick interaction between agencies and the alertness of Liberty County Sheriff’s Sergeant Travis Pierce resulted in the taking into custody of both runaways within about a two-hour period of time,” DeFoor said. According to the sheriff’s office statement, the initial report from the Crete Police Department indicated the young juvenile female may be in the area of Horseshoe Lake Estates of Liberty county with a juvenile male who was, himself, a runaway... “Both juveniles were reported to possibly be in a 2008 Ford F-150, four-door pick-up truck with commercial Nebraska license plates. The Crete Police Department reported this vehicle had been stopped earlier by a Kansas State Trooper who issued a warning ticket for a traffic violation,” DeFoor said. Pierce began making contact with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheltering Arms facility in Houston and the CPS agencies involved to coordinate their information in an attempt to locate the two runaway juveniles. “Driving to the area of CR 2850 and CR 2851 in the area of Romayor, Texas, Sgt.
