RIVERSIDE - Authorities continue to investigate an incident of criminal trespass at the Riverside Elementary School July 7. State police at Stonington report an unknown person or people entered the building without permission on that date. The juvenile was later encountered traveling on Route 890 and pursued, eventually apprehended by police. WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - A Dornsife man was injured in a July 10 crash on Slutter Valley Road. State police at Stonington reported a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado truck, driven by William Whary, 78, of Dornsife, was travel west on Slutter Valley Road when he exited the roadway off the south berm for an unknown reason then drove into a creek. SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - A truck driver was cited in a two-vehicle crash at 10:12 a. m. July 17 at Route 61 near the intersection with Route 487. State police at Stonington report a 1992 Freightliner truck, driven by Michael L. Honicker, 59, of Mount... , just before the intersection with Route 487. A 1994 Chevrolet sedan, driven by Dannie J. Good, 58, of Shamokin, came up on the right side of the truck in the turning lane.
